I have just relaunched my company Rockabill Media after 19 years as a non-executive and executive director with Beyond International one of Australia’s leading production and distribution companies. Rockabill will exploit my global expertise to explore projects internationally, providing consultancy on content strategy and distribution, exec production and financing across TV, film and music.
I have extensive international board and management experience and joined Beyond Distribution as General Manager, leading the international distribution team, with offices in Sydney, London, and Dublin from 2013 to 2020.
Prior to Beyond, I founded Channel 6 a digital television channel in Ireland raising the seed capital of €500,000 and $14m in financing. I was also Director of Programmes at TV3, Ireland the commercial free to air broadcaster responsible for the on-air content at the highly successful launch including the sole negotiation of the Champions League rights.
Earlier in my career I worked in cable, broadcast and SVOD in the UK and I currently sit on the board of some film and television companies.
As I have worked as a broadcaster, producer and distributor and have built an enviable international network, I see Rockabill Media’s real value in advising on content strategy and then helping IP owners to follow the most relevant – and lucrative – creative and commercial paths.
