Season 1
Projection
The fascinating life of Doroteo Arango – aka Francisco “Pancho” Villa – from his beginnings as a bandit on the run from the law, through his dizzying rise to become the most important military leader of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1919), his many romances and personal betrayals, to his death in an ambush planned by the Mexican government itself.
Centauro del Norte reveals a complex anti-hero struggling to redeem himself: idealistic, revolutionary, violent, contradictory, Pancho Villa inspired love and hatred, admiration and contempt, and became a myth, a legend that lives on to this day.
