The stars of the audiovisual industry have an appointment tonight (21.00 hours) at the Palacio de Congresos de Cádiz, where the opening gala of the first edition of the South International Series Festival will take place. A great showcase for the best Spanish and international series whose opening ceremony will feature Carolina Iglesias and Victoria Martín, known for their comedy podcast.

the title chosen to culminate the gala. The actor Luis Tosar, star of this Spanish series, will attend with the rest of his colleagues in a meeting in which names such as Manuel Tallafé, Marina Baeza, Elena Furiase Flores, Fernando Barona, Franky Martín, Irene Ferreriro, Iván Sánchez, Lisi Linder, Mariona Peña, José Manuel Seda, Agustina Palma, Alejandro Rafael Nones, Gorka Lasaosa, Alberto Amarilla, Nico Romero, Marta Hazas, Javier Veiga or Eva Ugarte, among others, have also confirmed their presence.
This gala will celebrate South Series’ status as the only international series festival in Spain designed and open to the public, after all, the primary target of the series. Throughout a week, both locals and foreigners who come to the city to enjoy the South Series program will be part of this great festival of the audiovisual sector and will be able to feel close to the stars they admire.
According to those responsible, the South is born with a clear international vocation, opening up to the best series from four continents and attracting creators from all over the world to make Cadiz become the international capital of the audiovisual industry. Over the next few days, these launches will be available in different formats, such as
screenings
and previews, totaling 70 titles in all.
South International Series Festival is a private initiative sponsored by the Consejería de Turismo, Cultura y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucía, co-financed with European funds, Ayuntamiento de Cádiz, Diputación de Cádiz, and the participation of Mediaset España as main media sponsor. Also collaborating in this first edition are Movistar Plus+, Spain Film Commission, Fundación SGAE, Fundación Bancaria Unicaja and Canal Sur.
