South Women: An approach to AAMMA professionals’.
The main objective of this colloquium is to present the reality of women professionals in the Andalusian audiovisual sector, in the field of television fiction, through the careers and knowledge of the professionals involved in this colloquium, paying special attention to the colleagues who are part of AAMMA. The list of television productions in which AAMMA’s professionals have been involved will be discussed, a point of support to reflect on the advances in the sector and on the importance of collective awareness in the industry.
Through the most recent works of the different professionals:
Isa Sánchez, co-writer of ‘Segunda muerte’, an original production of Movistar +, and the adaptation of the novel ‘Cuando nadie nos ve’, for HBO, a series to be directed by Enrique Urbizu.
Rocío Sepúlveda, creator of the short film ‘Yogur’, which was in the official section of the 26th Malaga Festival and is currently in the distribution phase, as well as scriptwriter for TV entertainment programs.
Ana Graciani, her most recent work is the short film ‘Pompita’, presented at the III GENERAAMMA, an author who combines, like few others, playwriting with scriptwriting for television and film footage.
Ángeles Reiné, on the other hand, combines scriptwriting with directing, which allows us to get a closer look at the double perspective of the creator and director of different formats.
We will discuss the writing process for original productions, adaptations from paper to screen, as well as the new television languages and formats, their path and demands, while addressing the suppression of gender stereotypes in the development of scripts in the sector, at what point is the incorporation of the feminist agenda in television fiction, fiction porous to this issue by audience and subscription. How factors such as gender and age influence the construction of cross-cutting stories.
