For nearly two decades, the iconic Noele Gordon has been the star of ITV’s flagship drama,

as motel owner Meg Mortimer. In 1981, at the height of the series’ success and Nolly’s fame, she was fired without ceremony, notice or explanation. As the boss’s words “all good things come to an end” ring in her ears, Noele faces tough questions about who she is and what she will do without her program. After trying to control the narrative surrounding her departure, Nolly finds herself at the center of a media firestorm, with everyone demanding to know the answer to a vital question: why was she fired? And yet they have never been told. The cast friends reunite and Nolly must face a final confrontation with producer Jack Barton. If she has to leave the series, does Meg have to die? Can Nolly save his alter ego’s life, or is it too late?
