A nihilistic and socially awkward Judicial Police inspector (Adriano Luz) investigates a group of suspicious deaths in the Tagus River. While the investigation is ongoing, the country, afflicted by an intense economic and social crisis, is shaken. “Working on a dark crime thriller, a very specific genre of fiction, is an idea that has always appealed to me,” says director Ivo M. Ferreira. “Sul was the opportunity to do it today and in my hometown, with which I have an umbilical relationship.”
