Purposes of the processing of your Personal Data, legitimate basis and periods of data retention.

Industry Registration: the personal data provided by the user will be processed in order to process, attend and manage the registration request for attendance to the Festival. Part of this data (name, surname, company name, professional position and e-mail) will be visible in the private area of other accredited users in the Industry Area in order to promote networking during the Festival.

The basis of legitimacy for the described processing is found in art. 6.1.b) of the General Data Protection Regulation which considers lawful the processing when it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the application at the request of the data subject of pre-contractual measures constituting for these purposes the registration to the Festival.

The data will be kept as long as the contractual relationship is maintained. Once this ends, the data will be kept duly blocked for the period necessary to comply with the legal obligations arising from this relationship until its subsequent deletion.

Press Accreditation: the personal data provided by the user will be processed in order to process the request for accreditation and attendance of persons attending SOUTH INTERNATIONAL SERIES FESTIVAL 2023 on behalf of media outlets that provide media coverage of the event. Part of this data (name, surname, company name, professional position and e-mail) will be visible in the private area of other accredited users in the Press Area in order to promote networking during the Festival.

The basis of legitimacy for the processing described is found in art. 6.1.e) of the General Data Protection Regulation, which considers the processing lawful when it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

The data will be kept as long as they are necessary for the intended purpose. Once this ends, the data will be kept duly blocked for the period necessary to comply with the legal obligations arising from this relationship until its subsequent deletion.

In relation to the data necessary to validate the membership of the represented media, they will be kept until the moment of their validation and as long as it is necessary for the fulfillment of any legal obligation. Subsequently, they will be returned or definitively deleted.

Use of images (photographs, videos and live broadcasts) of the SOUTH INTERNATIONAL SERIES FESTIVAL 2023: during the Festival, attendees may be filmed or photographed by staff of the organization or other entities with direct authorization from the organization, appearing in an incidental manner in the images. This multimedia material shall be the property of the Organizer. The same, will be used in accordance with the purposes of the Organizer, generally to be published on web pages or portals managed by the Organizer, although it may also be transferred to the various media that the organizers deem appropriate without geographical limit and for unlimited time. All this with the only exception and limitation of those uses or applications that could infringe the rights guaranteed in the Organic Law 1/1982, of May 5, 1982, on the Civil Protection of the Right to Honor, Personal and Family Privacy and Personal Image.

The attendees may appear in general shots, as well as in close-up or close-up shots relevant to the transmission, recording or subsequent dissemination of the event. The images will be disseminated in the media described above.

Attendees may make use of the rights expressly recognized in the data protection regulations by sending a communication to the Data Protection Officer under the terms indicated in the section Exercising the rights of the affected persons.

The Organizer is not responsible for the recordings that may be made by the public attending the Festival, nor for those made by the participants themselves.

The user or person concerned undertakes to provide correct, truthful and updated information about his/her situation.

Refusal to provide the required personal data, in cases where it is indicated as mandatory, will imply that the Organizer will not be able to provide the requested information or provide the required service.
