The tribute award to actress María Adánez will be presented on Friday, October 25 during the South International Series Festival Opening Gala, before the premiere of Movistar +’s “La vida breve”.
María Adánez is a leading actress in the field of comedy in Spain, recognized for her work in successful television series. Her experience includes important roles in three very popular comedy series on Spanish television, demonstrating her ability to connect with audiences in this genre.
Her film career spans more than twenty films, reflecting her versatility and commitment to different types of roles. In the theater, she has been nominated on several occasions for her performances as a leading lady, evidencing her ability to play complex and challenging characters.
Recently, María participated in the series ‘La que se avecina’ and ‘Amar es para siempre’, and was nominated for the Valle Inclán Award for ‘Divinas Palabras’, directed by José Carlos Plaza. She recently toured with the play ‘¡Ay, Carmela!’, also directed by Plaza. In addition, she has just released two new films in which she participates: ‘Invasión’ by David Martín Porras and ‘Menudas Piezas’ by Nacho García Velilla. Currently, she has just finished shooting the T15 of “La que se avecina” and rehearses her new play “La gramática”.
