Alberto Rodríguez Caballero (Madrid, August 21, 1973) is a Spanish director, screenwriter, and television producer. He is co-founder of Contubernio Films along with his sister Laura Caballero
He created the most popular shows in Spain in the past 20 years: Aquí no Hay Quien Viva (2003-2006) and its spin off La Que Se Avecina (2007-present). He is also the older brother of Laura Caballero, with whom he has created, directed and produced all of the series.
In addition to his work as a producer and screenwriter, he has directed some episodes of the successful sketch comedy Escenas de Matrimonio, Aquí No Hay Quien Viva and La Que Se Avecina. He also wrote for an episode of the television series La Revista in 1996 and adapted forty-four of the scripts for the Portuguese adaptation of Aqui No Hay Quien Viva.
More recently he has created and written, EL PUEBLO (Mediaset) with 4 seasons, MACHOS ALFA (Netflix), second season to be released in 2024, third season just wrapped production, and MUERTOS SL for Movistar + (3rd season shooting).
