Mexico Season 1
Projection
The fascinating life of Doroteo Arango -better known as Francisco “Pancho” Villa-, from his beginnings as a bandit fugitive from the law, his dizzying rise to become the most important military leader of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1919), his multiple romances and personal betrayals, until his death in an ambush planned by the Mexican government itself.
Centauro del Norte shows a complex anti-hero struggling to redeem himself: idealistic, revolutionary, violent, contradictory; Pancho Villa generated love and hate, admiration and contempt, becoming a myth, a legend that persists to this day.
