Mediaset España joins the first edition of the South Series International Festival as a media partner.

Madrid, June 20, 2023. Mediaset España has reached a collaboration agreement with the South Series International Festival, a new international event focused exclusively on television series and aimed at the public and professionals in the audiovisual sector, which will be held in various locations in the capital of Cadiz from October 6 to 12. Through this alliance, the media group joins this initiative as a media partner, reinforcing its commitment to the audiovisual sector and the series production industry, with the aim of promoting the dissemination and development of these products and the work of the professionals involved.

Among the activities to be developed in this innovative event, Mediaset España will present some of its fiction and non-fiction series bets for next season.

South Series is born with the vocation of becoming the largest festival of series for the audiovisual industry in Southern Europe, a meeting place with a program that includes more than seventy activities from networking where creators and professionals will be able to exchange experiences and points of view. At the same time, the event will focus on trends and new series projects for the coming season and will host some twenty fiction and non-fiction premieres, in a program open to the public that will include more than a hundred titles in which moviegoers will be able to interact with the celebrities assistants.

South Series International Festival is a private initiative with the main sponsorship of the Junta de Andalucía and the close collaboration of the city council of Cádiz.
